Not that I care anymore, but check out the new breed of Twinkies next time y'all visit SF:
ABC Twinkie Sellouts 2006:
Qualifications:
1) Yellow on the outside
2) White Supremacist on the inside
This used to be a joke from my stand-up routine, but sadly it is growing truer every day. Ugh.

Re: A new generation of Twinkies
Fri, August 18, 2006 - 9:20 PMI don't understand how one could be Asian and a white supremacist? Wouldn't you have to be "white" to join the Ku Klux Klan? It's like being a gay republican. What would Margaret Cho say? I'm confused. -

Sat, August 19, 2006 - 6:21 AMI think he means the more "friendly", less conscious side of white supremacy which most white people inhabit. There are gay Republicans actually. -

Sat, August 19, 2006 - 7:59 PMTwinkies are stupid. I'd rather be a banana, all natural and healthier :) -

Re: A new generation of Twinkies
Wed, August 23, 2006 - 11:39 AMYou can eat a twinkie 25 years after you bought it.
You will have to have a constant supply of bananas and constantly battle monkeys for it.
Also the fact that everytime you eat a banana a rhesus monkey cries a tear somewhere .

Re: A new generation of Twinkies
Tue, January 30, 2007 - 3:21 AMI'm an Asian American woman who dated all races ( I'm married now).
I know and understand the history of Asians in the US, East Asia, and the immigrant lives.
One thing I do not like about Asian cultures or parents or parents- in -laws is that they are very controlling.
Of course there are non-Asian parents who are controlling as well, but not like Asian ones.
Asian parents take it to another level. Forget individualism and speaking one's mind ( collectivist culture mentality).
As an Asian female growing up in the US, not only I had to deal with bullshit
stereotypes/racism/prejudice from non-Asians (not all) in this country but also from my own community. Because my parents were separated and eventually divorced, I dealt w/ strong discrimination within my own community. I knew that I would never marry an Asian dude because if the dude
is handsome and successful, guess what? Expensive dowry will be expected from the woman's side of the family (or I would have to be super beautiful and successful) and for someone like me (divorced parents background), I def. would be treated like a second citizen by the parents-in-laws.
So, please, do not stereotype all Asian women are white supremacist or twinkies without knowing and understanding all the variables.
Frankly, your thinking is no better than those white men who thinks that Asian women are submissive.
My stereotype of Asian women are: I think some are bitchy, controlling ( so typical of them ), high-maintenance or really low, never upfront but do things behind, acts nice and polite in front but hey, it's like the South or Midwest, watch your backs!!!! Southerns and Mid-Western people are very nice and polite but you better watch your backs...my other side of family are from the heart land of America and boy...people are nice in front of you but will say a lot of bullshit behind someone else's back (very similar to Asian cultures = being conservative, strong family ethics, etc) They are not upfront as New Yorkers and I've lived in NYC, most of my life!
