I stumbled upon an article from the Turkish Daily News about a new French movie 'Le Sheitan' by a Vietnamese french director, opening in February. It's a litle hard to tell exactly what the movie is about, but it seems to focus on the lives of mult-ethnic youth in the gritty suburbs of Paris. The movie's timely as there were riots and arson attacks in similar Paris suburbs three months ago.
The movie features Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel (Brotherhood of the Wolf) and includes a french vietnamese actor too. I'm not too familiar with french movies, but the director and the article say there aren't many french movies showing a diverse France.
So does any know of any movies that showcases Asians or other asian groups in France?
